The Golden Crown: become the best player in the world
At the end of every season, the Golden Crown crowns the best player of the Onze Destins universe. Winning it marks the greatest careers, and it weighs heavily in your final score.
Aim for the Crown
How it is decided
The jury looks at your whole season: your rating, your match average, your goals and assists (or clean sheets for a goalkeeper or a defender), the trophies won, the level of your division and your fame. Playing little costs a lot: under twenty matches your bid collapses.
Trophies make the difference
A Stars Cup or a Nations Cup weigh the most, ahead of a top-flight title and national cups.
Play in the top division
The ranking penalises lower divisions. To aim for the Crown you must sooner or later sign for a top-flight club and start there.
Your rival is in the race
The rival of your generation competes too. The Rival beaten badge rewards those who finish with more trophies and Crowns than him.
What it brings
Each Golden Crown adds 220 points to your career score. It also unlocks the Golden Crown badge and the Crown card frame, and three Crowns in one career are worth the King of the world title.
Frequently asked questions
From what age can I win it?
From your first professional season if your performances follow. In practice it mostly comes between 23 and 31, at your peak rating.
Can a goalkeeper win it?
Yes. For a goalkeeper or a defender, clean sheets and rating count instead of goals.
